This Date in Weather History

1979 - The first killer tornado of record in October in Connecticut destroyed sixteen vintage aircraft at the Bradley Air Museum in Windsor Locks. The tornado damaged more than one hundred homes causing 200 million dollars damage. Three persons were killed, and 500 others were injured.

About Skull Valley, Arizona

Skull Valley (Yavapai: Pa:qwawa Kyo) is a small, unincorporated town in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. It is located seventeen miles west of Prescott. The community has a post office. As of the 2020 census, the population in the Skull Valley Elementary School District was greater than 800 people.
