GOES water vapor imagery and RAP 500 mb analyses indicated broad mid-
level troughing over the Great Lakes with embedded troughs extending
from the central Rockies into the Ohio Valley. Over the next 24-48
hours, the higher rain chances will be focused south across the Mid-
Mississippi to Ohio Valleys along a surface wave, but an isolated
shower/sprinkle cannot be ruled out (
