A large positively tilted trough will slowly move east through the
end of this week. Ahead of this trough, a cold front will slowly
move east into the area this evening and eventually move east of
the area by Friday evening. Ahead of this system, a deep and
moist southwest flow will continue to pump moisture into the area.
This will continue to create scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms this evening. The coverage of showers and
thunderstorms will decrease from west to east by Friday afternoon
as the front moves east across the area and a drier airmass moves
into the area. Most of the rain on Friday will be along and east
of I-65. Dry conditions will continue through the middle of next
week. High temps will warm back into the upper 80s and low 90s
this weekend through next week with lower humidity. /13

A cold front progresses slowly through the area through Friday,
with showers and storms occurring mostly east of I-65 tonight then
shifting slowly further eastward on Friday. IFR to MVFR conditions
will be possible with the showers and storms, and gusty winds will
also be possible with the stronger storms near the coast. Light
southwesterly winds become northwesterly to northerly in the wake
of the front, though a brief return to a southwesterly flow will
be possible near the coast Friday afternoon. /29

Friday night as a cold front moves across the marine area. A
generally light northerly flow will continue through next week as
high pressure builds northwest of the marine area. /13
